How does StepLadder work?
Your employees working together to raise their home deposits faster
“We would create a bespoke Stepladder circle for your first-time buyer employees interested in saving together for their property deposits by lending and borrowing from one another through a peer to peer model.
Stepladder match your employees based on their deposit target.
Each month, everyone in the circle pays in the same set amount of money, and one member is then awarded the total.
This happens each month until every member is awarded their total deposit. All members receive their deposit earlier, bar one (who is none the worse off than with basic solo saving but is now a member of a supportive group).
All Stepladder circle members would have access to advice and home ownership support throughout the journey and additional group discounts (up to £1,500) using our service providers.

How does StepLadder make money?
Whilst we do charge you a monthly fee, this is not for profit. Where we make our money is by introducing you to mortgage lenders and service providers (e.g. solicitors, insurance providers) who pay us a fee if you chose to use their services when purchasing your home.
